Diary of the Week: Pink Tartan, TFW closing party and Lac + Co ~ HELLO!
The style set was ready to bid fashion week adieu after a busy five days in the tents, trading David Pecault Square for King West’s Candyland, where aerial acts, contortionists, burlesque and prosecco were the order of the hour at the Jay Strut-hosted affair. Ainsley Kerr, Robin Kaye, The Fashion Collective and more let loose as they retired their fashion week finest for another season. His clients include Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow, Britney Spears and Jessica Alba, to name a few, so it’s no surprise that an appearance by celebrity colourist Johnny Ramirez drew a fabulous crowd to Tony Pham’s new luxury salon and lifestyle boutique, LAC + CO. As a recently named ambassador for L’Oreal Professional, Johnny’s star power is only on the rise. Nadège stocked the sweets table with a bounty worthy of Marie Antoinette, from macarons and madeleines to candy-coloured profiteroles, and the guest of honour chatted happily with editors eager to know the tricks of the trade. Hats off to Johnny!
