Johnny Ramirez Academy is the education platform for Johnny’s techniques, perspective and real-world experience. The classes are grounded in the philosophy of Ollin, the Nahuatl word for movement: the belief that great artistry is never static and that continued growth comes through practice, education and evolution.
Across each experience, Johnny shares not only how he creates his signature Lived-In Color, but how he thinks through consultation, technique, client experience, career development and business. The goal is to help artists strengthen their eye, understand the reasoning behind every decision and bring what they learn back to their own work.

Hands On Experience

This intimate class gives colorists the opportunity to work alongside Johnny Ramirez and his team while executing the Lived-In Color process on a live model. Johnny guides you through each step, from consultation and color strategy to placement, formulation and finishing, while helping you refine your technique and understand the reason behind every decision.
The goal is not simply to copy a formula. It is to develop your eye, strengthen your technique and give you the confidence to adapt what you learn to the clients sitting in your own chair.
